Porsche Battery Maintainer

Not really, but I bought a Delran Battery Tender Jr. that is basically a
wall-wart that
has a cable with a quick-disconnect and ring terminals on the battery end.
Once installed, it is very easy to disconnect the tender when you use the
car and
easy to hook it back up when the car is parked.
Keeps the battery topped off, compatible with all car batteries
(conventional lead-acid,
gel-cell like Optima, AGM like my Miata battery, etc.). Will not overcharge
or reverse
polarity either.
Recommended on Dream Car Garage, I'm very happy with mine and the guys at
Legendary
Motor Car are dealing with high-$$$ classics like '65 Shelby GT350 Mustangs
and stuff like
that. I've seen the battery tender mentioned on Hot Rod TV and some other
programs as well.
I got mine from the Eastwood Company, but I found a place that sells them
much cheaper-
can't find the thing now- the place sells Optima batteries for a very good
price, they're out of
Wisconsin or somewhere in the midwest, mentioned on NASIOC in a search of
"Optima and WRX".
Hope this helps a little.
Taka
