Hi Alexander,

Yes, is the same here in the US.

But the damn warning light did not blink in the case
of my car. Just my luck I guess.

When the sensor on the reservoir tank or its relay is
defective, it manifest itself by the blinking red
light, even if the temp or coolant level is normal.
