I think in the case of a Infiniti M45 Sport, that those wide 19" performance
tires
are not going to help fuel economy at all. I lost about 2 mpg in my 200q
when I
went from 225/45 to 255/40 tires.

I've lost about the same 2 mpg going from my winter Hankook W303 in
175/65R14
to Falken Azenis RT-615 in 205/50R15. That's going from a pretty low-grip
tire to a
really sticky tire. I imagine that in a heavier car, the difference would be
much worse.
