Have to chime in...in one of my 91 200 20v TQAs (my daily driver) the trip
computer is doing strange things in concert with the speedometer. When
cruising at 3k rpm or so on the interstate, the speedo will drop to 45-65
mph range and bounce up and down. Simultaneously, the mpg indicator will
start dropping precipitously from the 23+ actual reading and will go down
into the low teens. When the speedo stops doing its strange thing, the mpg
starts climbing again steadily. This has been going on for about the last 3
weeks and seems to be totally random. It is happening around town now,
also. Any BTDT? Thanks Tom
