1987 5KTQ Coil Test

I had my '87 5KTQ emissions tested today and it passed with flying colours.
This is good for 2 reasons; 
1) I need it for a trip and have to leave almost immediately
2) Since it is 20 years old it won't have to be tested again!!! yeah :-)
3) and this is the last year that won't have to be tested ever again :-) the
88 model will have to be tested to the end of its life!

Problem:

It still runs poorly under acceleration. It runs and pulls smoothly through
the 2 - 3k rpm range, but at about 4k rpm or 1.2 on the boost scale, the power
drops off and it stumbles. In my quest for the problem I tested the coil.
Bentley on pg 28.24 explains how to test for resistance in the coil. My coil
has resistance in the correct range for the test between terminal 1 and the
hitension connection, but between term 1 and 15 I have no resistance. I get
the same reading on three different coils. Are all 3 bad? Does anyone know of
a source for these coils?
