Jim, 

I had a similar event this spring with an urQ. The problem was that one
of the 2 10mm bolts that attach the air temperature sensor had come
loose and fell below, just to keep the throttle from completely closing.
It is amazing that a throttle plate that is barely open can produce so
much torque (granted that you don't want any at all!). With my
traditional luck, I was able to repair it on the side of the road
because there is a 10mm spanner in the trunk tool pouch !
