Didn't know that about the seats. Every Quantum Syncro I've ever driven had
them.
As for the console, my '84 4KQ also had a hard, plastic console. And dash
for that matter.
Only difference (in the console) was it was brown. The dash was definitely
shaped
differently, and had a bit more class (like no VW Rabbit switches) than the
Quantums.
