If you can manage to remove the hose from the car, you might be able to 
get a new piece of hose swaged to the ends you have at a random car 
parts or heavy equipment shop.

Considering how much heavy equip. is now "worldwide" a place like that 
might even have appropriate metric fitting to make it "all new".

I blew out a couple of hoses on my loader and a local NAPA was able to 
make replacements easily (vintage SAE stuff, of course).

I figure since you're in Podunk, the odds are that there are reliable 
places the local farmers (etc.) bring the tractor needs to.

Otherwise, you might have to just keep toppping up, I bet that pump 
won't survive long running dry.
