Get a bicycle inner tube, you can pick these up just about anywhere from
Sears to toy stores.  Cut the tube open along the seam, wrap the tube
around the leak TIGHTLY, as tight as you can pull it, and keep going
round and round pulling the rubber as tight as you can.  Put a hose clamp
or two on, tightly also, to keep the rubber inner tube in place. If it's
in a tight space, cable ties will work instead of hose clamps.  I had the
top hose on the ole (RIP) 5KS spring leak about 200 miles from home,
luckily I always keep an inner tube in the trunk.  Got home, and drove
the car for another couple weeks with the patch.  BTW-this will also work
if you need to patch a water pipe in an emergency at home.
