Remove the steering wheel, unplug the wires and remove the switch gear , remove the collar and or spring on the shaft, remove the pinch bolt on the left side of the lock housing.  Insert the key into the switch and turn it to (or past) the first position from "off".  Pull the lock housing off the column.  Remove the key.  Replace the switch.  Reinsert the key and test the function.  Put the lock housing back in place and reassemble all the bits you've removed.  Done.  Can't do it without the key.  John
