Exhaust flange - Engineering Design Challenge for you Audifanstinkerers

Could you use a 2 hole multi part flange repair? I believe I've seen those. 
I needed to use a 3 part with 3 bolt holes when it broke off on my 92 Jetta. 
I think maybe you could work something up. They were only a few bucks each 
anyway.
