200 Sunroof all or nothing

Car is an 89 200TQ. The sunroof is intermittent - it either works fine or 
not at all. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to when it will 
work, except the easy to remember instances of stuck open when it starts 
to rain. Does anyone know any common failure points to in this circuit to 
inspect? I searched the archive and found only one reference to wiring 
through the trunk in a V8Q. Thanks.
