And where will you find the satisfaction of having made it yourself?
What it costs depends on what you have on hand. If you own your own home and
do your own repairs, then you have a garage full of hardware odds and ends.
I had the gauge. I had most of the plumbing stuff and the clamps. I had the
epoxy. The fuel line cost about $2.50 and the valve was about $4.
And the stuff from the junkyard cost pennies. I was picking up other stuff
at the time and threw the banjos and fuel line ends in the bucket.
