Or a wire to a sensor got stretched, breaking a weak connection.
When i first got my '94 100 S, I needed to wiggle the shift lever
left and right while it was in Park to get to turn or remove the
key. It turned out that replacing the electrical portion of the
ignition switch fixed that problem.
When my starter wouldn't crank last month, that turned out to
be a bad starter.
