No, but...  Was it radar dish, or a microwave dish?

IIRC, the original microwave oven was developed because an engineer
was standing by a magnatron which melted the chocolate bar in his
pocket.  I could guess that a microwave dish, aimed towards a nearby
car, could wreak enough havoc with the ECU and sensors to cause them
to temporarily fail.  But that's a WAG.

How is the fertility rate in the area, compared to the national
average? :)
