Jiffylube caught not doing billed maintenance (David Ullrich)

Easy fix for this problem. Make a thin ramp extender to put out in front of
the ramp. Something like 1' wide x 2' long x say 1.5" thick (2 pieces of
3/4" plywood, doubled up). Cut an angle on the front to make it easier to
drive up onto, and if you want, some kind of hook to tie in the wood to the
ramps, so they won't push away.

With the extenders, this way the tires will start to go up a little before
you hit the ramps, and it might be enough to lift the front of the car so
your bumper clears the ramps.

If you need more clearance, or want to get real fancy, you could make the
extensions out of 3 pieces of plywood, but stagger the front of each piece,
so you have little steps, instead of one big 2.25" jump.

Should be enough to get you onto the ramps.

Also, I found this to be a lot less of a problem when I switched from my old
metal ramps, to those black plastic (rhino?) ramps, as they're longer, so
it's a more gradual slope.

I didn't either before I put type 89 Cq H&R springs on her. Now the plastic
bumper cover hits the ramps before the tires do, so it just pushes the ramps
forward rather than driving onto them. It used to be a 10-15 min thing to do
and oil change, now its a PITA. Im considering ditching the springs just to
make oil changes easier. lol
