head gasket failure - now dumb Audi decisions

Makes sense to me to have the horn turn off with the
key.
the electric diaphragm horns used to have a reputation
of sticking, so
the fact that it's wired through the X relief means
that you can at
least cut the power whilst you figure out how to get
at the horn and
from which direction you are going to swing the
hammer, without going
deaf with the ba**ard thing blaring in your face.
Maybe more true of 'Joe Lucas The Prince Of Darkness'
electrics on
Minis, and the daft wire running up the centre of type
2 steering
columns, but all the same....

I also have offspring who enjoys sitting in the car
with the keys out
and a big bit of wood behind one of the
wheels.........................................
