MC2 knock sensors

When I replaced the front knock sensor on my 200Q (MAC14) the stealer
I got it from only stocked the longer wired sensor. He said that the only
difference in P/N is the length of the cable. I am not sure what impact of
using a cable of longer length for the shorter cabled sensor would have,
but as you stated, since it is simply a microphone of relatively high
impedence, I'm not sure that the added resistance of extra cable (low
impedence) would add up to much effect at all. Of course, then you're
stuck with finding a safe way of coiling the excess cable.
