High current draw with car off

300mA is about 4 watts, so it must be something that heats or lights, think of
how hot a 3 watts instrument cluster bulb can be... Maybe there is a lighting
device on the same circuit ?

I might have not been totally clear in my novel... The drain (well all but
5ma from the clock) is definitely the trip computer. I can plug the trip
comp. plug into the back of the gauge cluster and see ~300ma draw. Unplug
and it's down to 5ma. If someone has a good one I'd love to know what it's
pulling.
