Maybe, but I'd also at least consider:
1. CV joint on it sway out
2. Wheel bearing on its way out
> If it is the strut bearing, what am I risking by delaying replacement?
I never had a type 44, but from 90/4000 series- unless its literally
falling apart - nothing.
