Did you have it done by an Audi dealer? Did the Audi
dealer replace it with a genuine Audi part? I've heard
from the list that the third-party aftermarket switches
are prone to early failure, while the Audi parts are
better.  It just may be that your new switch (the
electrical portion) has failed, again.
