Hey, I've had a few cracks in the head in my time, and ain't never did me no
serious harm...  :-P
I've even seen some heads that are DESIGNED to crack...

Mandatory Audi Content:  It *is* going to be interesting to see the
condition of the existing EM on the '86 when I pull the engine with 260k+
miles on the clock.  I'll have pictures of that job, you can be sure...it's
my first engine swap...heh...
