Armor All destroys vinyl

i am POSITIVE that my use of "Armor All" led to the dash cracking.   like i 
said before in my initial post - i had used armor all on the dash of my audi 
for years..  my mom had the same year car as me, and her dash was in mint 
condition - parked outside for years -  she never put any armor all on it.    
furthermore, i have NEVER even seen an audi dash of the same model and year as mine 
that was cracked - every mid 80's audi i see in the junkyards has perfect 
dashes.  
apparently what happens is that it wicks the "plasticizers" or pliable-ness 
out of the vinyl AS IT EVAPORATES... when parked in the hot sun, etc..  and 
acellerates the drying out of the vinyl, which in turn shrinks it and makes it 
hard..  
i used armor all on mine and it cracked. 
i wont use that junk again..
