I posted about what was going on but it probably got lost in the shuffle...

I only sort of runs right now I am still tracking a couple of vacuum leaks, one is in a weld and for some reason the Idle screw isn't working right either..

I did get it running enough to get a timing light on it and the timing was advanced 51 degrees!! No wonder it was hard to start and needed so much fuel... I set it at 7 degrees and it seems much happier excedpt for the fuel issue. The vacuum leaks are causing havoc though and I have to get them taken care of because it won't rev up unless I bounce the throttle up with my foot and even then it is way rich but won't start if I lean it out.. I'm going to try to JB the weld cracks and take the TB back apart and see what is up with the idle screw.. Hopefully things will improve because I am getting a little discouraged about it plus I just really want to drive it!!

  Thanks for all the help
  Matt

Oh man, and you never told us? How's we supposed to help if you don't
tell what things you are doing to mess up the system, eh?

Glad it's fired up again, finally, though!
