I had a mini-computer I custom-rigged in a waterproof WW2 ammunition can
running off of 12v, with a whole bunch of hard drive space that I could wifi
to and from out in my driveway. I needed the space, so I took it out and sold
it, but now I just connect my mp3 player to the line-in on the front of the
JVC head unit I have. I just tune it to AUX, and play my media player however
I want. Works beautifully.
