Chris,

If it's clean, loaded and in good shape, yes, that's a good deal for a '99.
I just (last week) bought a loaded '99 A6 q wagon, black/black leather, with
similar mileage, in very good overall condition. I've had to do
brakes/rotors/hoses, but otherwise it was in good mechanical shape. Recent
timing belt. While it was in the shop I also did Bilstein shocks and Hsport
sway bars.

And yes, there is a third seat available for this car. I'm pulling one out
of mine (black interior), so if you need a third seat, let me know.

The C5 is a nice car -- lots of great interior comfort features, but a lot
less bullet proof than the C4. The C5 front suspension has *lots* of control
arms that like to be replaced periodically, and the electronics are a lot
more complicated.

Also the C4 is a sportier car (when you're comparing base C4 to C5 V6 cars).
It feels smaller...and is a bit smaller.

If you're looking for a nice wagon, I've got a '95 that I'm selling.
