ouch. there's some harsh opinions out here WRT
lowered suspensions.

i assure you that i have no desire to rice up a
honda, or any other car for that matter. as for
screwing it up, that would be counterproductive.
i'm looking to improve the handling of the 200,
just as i have for all of the other cars that i
own/have owned.

no doubt! i've run loads of cars with cut coils,
but i've done it in such a way as to maximize the
vehicles' handling.

i have an 84 jetta couple that is running koni
yellows with heavily modified suspension. the
lower pickup points for all four struts have been
moved to allow the vehicle to drop, while still
maintaining suspension travel, the springs in the
front have been cut as well. the car rolls on
195.45.15 tires on 15x7 rims, and all of the
arches have been modified to allow the tires to
turn without touching the body.

that's my fun car. it's my excessively lowered,
excessively loud, excessively fast little
machine. i love running laps with it, i love
driving down, i love driving to shows in the US,
etc. the car is stupid.

i don't want this from my audi. i want a lowered
car with big wheels and big power for hauling the
family around. if possible.

see, now we're on to something. possibilities!
keep em coming! ;)
