Sunroof Operation ??

Yeah, but he's saying that the switch only works in the "forward"
position. It seem most likely that the switch is bad. If the limit
settings were wrong, when he closed the sunroof (after manually
opening it) it wouldn't stop in the right place.
The fact that it's operating slowly could indicate (as another lister
suggested) a need for a cleaning and re-lube, but it could also just
be high resistance in the switch, causing a voltage drop. If it were
my car, I'd check the switch, and if it's bad, carefully open it up,
and dress the contacts with an ignition points file (if one is
available) or a plain old nail file if not. Actually, the nail files
included in those miniature swiss army knives and some leatherman
tools work great for this.
When taking apart switches like this, work over a well lighted table,
because it's highly likely that a small spring or detent ball will
come flying out.
