Longevity question...

Almost forever.  As long as you keep up with the "little things" 
(switches, wires, etc.) and the occasional "bigger thing" (hydraulics 
and such), that engine/car will just keep on running and running and 
keep you happy.

By the way, as far as "the market" is concerned, it's already way past 
"high mileage".  As far as a well maintained Audi 5 cylinder car... it's 
barely broken in.
