REar differential on 86 4KCSQ/big seal install tool to loan

Anyway, the 80/90/4k (being international here) takes 1.6 pints in
the rear diff.
Bentley says 2.3 quarts- I only got ~ 1 qt out- and when I went to
refill- Maybe it wasn't leaking as badly as I thought!!.

George and listees: that's about what drained out of my 87 4kq last
fall. I feel better now!!

On another subject, I bought a mixed bag of Audi shop tools on ebay
some months ago and one of the tools was the BIG end rear diff seal
installer. As soon as I get off my butt and buy some Redline for
it(rear diff), and install the new rear seals(bought from Bus Depot
for less than $25 for the pair) I'd be glad to loan it out for free
if you folks would cover the shipping which might be $3-4 USPS each
way. It's not like I'm going to be using it once a month(I
HOPE!). Blau gets $35 to rent this tool and a hefty deposit on top
of that. I don't think I paid $30 for the whole mess shipping and
all. That big seal goes back in that cavity pretty deep and I can
see where the shade tree mech could have trouble getting it in there correctly.

P mail me if you need to use it.
