Execpt for nitpicking the nomenclature, I stand by my statements.

Funny, I've replaced three (that broke), over about 20 years of seeing 
mine and freinds' Audis.

The reason I say to replace it is that while all the parts are undone is 
a good time (before it breaks, someday).  And as I said, they are cheap.
