can't get engine lid to open - '88 80Q

I just realized there was already a file on my site about this:

I also added a schematic diagram of the parts typically used on 80's Audis.

Now what would be cool is if I can get a bunch of you to go out and take 
careful pictures showing the locations of the catch spring things on 
each side of various models so I can add them.

This would be to help people whose hoods are stuck closed, so they can 
tell where to insert screwdrivers/coathangers/etc. to release them.
