Hi all,
I was able to stop the squeaking of my blower motor with a squirt of oil ...
without removing it from the car.
I used a pump oiler and snaked it's skinny red tube into the bearing area at
both ends of the shaft, and gave it a couple shots of oil. Access is
through the vent hole after removal of the rubber hose. You also have to
remove wiper arms and splash shield.
This was several weeks ago and I haven't heard a single sound since. I had
a spare blower motor in front of me which served as a guide re: where to
squirt. You really can't see where you are squirting the oil so having a
motor in hand as a guide is required.
