Yes it does. Congratulations on having good oil. if it was clean, all 
that stuff would be gumming up your engine. Castrol uses a particularly 
high number of detergents and suspension agents.  Expensive oils in 
general use more. Synthetics, from the best brands, are the best of the 
best, and thus get susp[end the most dirt.
