reliability A4 V6 vs 1.8T

This may be so.  To add someone's possible speculations: read on some
on-line forum that the oil pan on Audi 1.8T was to blame - being shallower
at the oil pump pick-up area than VW 1.8T due to longitudinal vs. transverse
engine configuration.  DK if or how that would cause the sludge in Audi
only, although it was mentioned that VW didn't have such issue.  Is this
true? (just bought a VW 1.8T)
