I don't know who originally posted that, since you didn't give us the  
courtesy ;-), but door jam stickers usually list Gross Vehicle Weight  
Rating, which is not even REMOTELY "curb weight".  It is the maximum  
the car can weigh, filled to capacity.  Ie, full tank of gas, 5  
passengers and maximum cargo in the trunk, AND (I think) the roof  
loaded to capacity (generally 100-150lb?)

I would expect the V8Q to weigh a fair bit more than the 200q20v  
(which is supposedly 3660 or so), on account of the larger body,  
larger/heavier automatic transmission and rear differential, and  
bigger engine.
