Goofy Sunroof Weirdness

I think I'm going to have to take some pictures and disassemble it as you
describe. Nothing obvious is causing that panel to be out of place, but
there must be a reason, because when I bought the car it was in the right
place when the sunroof was closed. Now it's slightly askew, but even in
that condition the sunroof works normally.
Thanks for the advice, I'll take some pictures and post them on Flickr and
let everyone see what I mean.
