Goofy Sunroof Weirdness

Had a similar issue with my 91 20v.... In my situation the "interior" flap
was not sealing all the way (1" gap) on either side! I looked in the Bentley,
compared to my 90 10v, couldn't see anything broken or obviously out of
place. Believe it's the adjustment which looks like it requires fairly
extensive disassembly and possible removal of the sunroof. Figured out how
the flap works and decided the portion that closes the flap was not engaging
fully!

 

Sunroof doesn't leak with the flap open, but, was getting some wind noise at
highway speeds which I found annoying (With the radio off or low vol!)

 

I don't use the sunroof or tilt, so ended up pulling the flap down a little
bit and putting some small foam blocks in-between the flap and sunroof. Flap
now closes when tilt function is used. (tells me it's a adjustment) It's not
being forced down but is allowing the slide that closes it to engage the
flap.

 

Not the correct manner to fix it, but have other issues that take higher
priority!
