Cordless.  It's nicad, not really 'high' voltage like those fancy 18V  
or Lithium Ion tools.

Mark is right- it's BIG.  It's also not terribly quiet- the impact  
mechanism sounds basically like the clutch on most drill-drivers,  
only REALLY loud.  I wear earplugs, as I find the noise painful, and  
I'm more mindful of protecting my hearing these days.

The air impact gun itself is much quieter, or not as harsh...at least  
the one I have...

There are really cheesy 12v lighter socket versions.  Also, my father  
drove a 120VAC impact gun off an 1500W inverter for years.  Said it  
worked well enough at the track.  The milwalkee is obviously simpler/ 
easier.
