I thought the 200q20v was slightly faster, but who knows.  In cold  
weather, the 200q20v would easily embarass the V8Q.  In really hot  
weather, it'd most likely be the other way around.  Off the line  
acceleration in 80-90 degree weather in the 200q20v is abysmal,  
especially with the A/C on.

The difference between my quarter mile times up in Epping varied by  
more than a full second as temps dropped from 80 degrees to about 62  
as the evening went on.  I went from "dead even" with a  Mustang GT  
to having him in my mirrors.

Then the alternator pegged the system voltage at well over 16v,  
blowing the fuse for the dash+radio...

...on MY car ;-)  Had to drive home employing accessory-load-based  
voltage regulation.
