Odometer Quit '88 80Q (speedometer works)

Usually the problem on the odometers for the 4000 is that the pot metal gear all the way to the right that drives the stack slips on the shaft. This allows the shaft to work it's way out and disengage from the worm drive gear on the left end. There are no broken gears.
I ended up pulling the shaft back enough to remove the metal gear, then I upset the inside diameter slightly with a center punch on the edge of the hole and pressed the shaft back in. Should be a fairly permanent fix. Don't know if the speedo cluster on the B3 80/90 is the same.
