low pressure port for 95 A6 AC sysetm

Anyone able to tell me where the low pressure port is for recharging the AC
system on the 1995 A6 Q?  I found one fitting up front right off the
condenser, but I am thinking thats the high pressure side because the
fitting I have wont fit.  Someone suggested it might be right on the
compressor.  Any truth to that or where it actually is?
