AC issues

As long as we're on the subject.....

I have ordered a new compressor for one of the fleet, Teutonic, sans
rings but mit star.  I saw the writing on the wall a few years back and
stocked up on R12 (a few 30 pounders @ $45 each), so I have no need to
convert to R134 for lack/cost of R12.  
The only compressors that are available are all listed as R134.  I spoke
with the World Pac rep, and he told me he thinks the compressors are
still the same R12 compressors but with some different seals.  Does
anyone know for sure if the R134 replacement compressors are indeed R12
compatible?
