Yesterday my outdoor digital thermometer showed 110 in the shade in my back  
yard, and the local Hardware store parking lot registered 119 (F). But it's a  
dry heat!
At the Mile Hi Nationals on Saturday a dial gauge registered 111 under one  
of the merchant canopies. Shirt seen at the drags - "Gasoline is for washing 
parts; Alcohol is  for drinking; Nitro is for racing".
It's been a bit toasty in Colorado.
