Synthetic DOT 4 brake fluid

Disagree. I've used Valvoline Synth on everything for 5 years. No problem.
90-100 degree weather here in CO at altitude and road trips to Arizona and
SoCal through the desert. No problem.
A couple of nice hot track days. No problem.
In addition to changing fluids, you also flushed the whole system.
Maybe that resolved another issue that you were unaware of.
