  I said it once before and nobody's listening...  they are EXACTLY  
THE SAME STUFF AS THE HTML  ARCHIVES, just a different format.

   PLEASE do not download them unless you REALLY, ABSOLUTELY, MUST  
have a complete copy of list traffic from a certain period.  They are  
VERY large, and cost us in bandwidth.

As I said before, if you're hunting for something, try the  
experimental search here:

Be patient, as it is pretty slow (up to 15 seconds) but is a complete  
index of everything on the site up until a week or so ago.  I've had  
good luck with the few test searches I tried.  Keep in mind it biases  
searches towards terms found in the subject of the message.
