sorry let me clarify that, when i say plenty of pep I don't mean it's
a pocket rocket. Also I drove a golf er.. Rabbit, so the higher power
to weight ratio may have been the difference there(2900 or so in the
rabbit Vs. 3300 in the jetta). But the car had plenty of zip around
town and on the highway it was certainly acceptable for 65-75mph
passes, no it's not a world beater, but definetly better than most,and
I use this loosley, "sport compact" cars. It certainly beats the sh*t
out of all the other cars I've test driven in the price range.
