LAC: Wow! Tire Pressure!

It would be interesting to hear some informed opinion on this. I
essentially treat my 5KCSTQ as a front-engine/front-drive vehicle because of
its imbalanced weight distribution. There's a lot more weight over the
front tires, and that's why I've inflated mine a little more than the rear
tires, my armchair theory being that the front tires have to convey much
more force than the rear tires in cornering situations. I was worried that
if I inflated the rears to a higher pressure than the fronts, I would change
the handling balance of the car toward oversteer without any net gain in
cornering ability -- i.e., the car would become more "twitchy" with no real
net gain, especially in the rain.

But someone correct me if I'm wrong.
