Fuel lines with the correct ends to fit your fuel distributer - banjo or
high pressure type.
I got the banjo style fuel line ends and the banjo bolts out of earlier
version audis. You can see where these came from in Pix 1. Get a bunch of
these banjo fittings and bolts, and dont forget to save the washers!!!
Take tin snips with you to cut through the fuel hoses . .quick work.
Newer audis use the higher pressure fitting shown on pix 1 and the left
fitting in pix 2.

Build Procedure
Everything is straight forward . .look at the pix
Use dremel tool with cut-off wheel to remove the crimp sleeve and hose from
end of banjo fittings.
The banjo and the other fuel line ends(see both in Pix 2) have barbed ends
on them - which just happen to fit inside a 1/4" barb connector.
Clean all fittings before applying epoxy.
Cut off some of the epoxy putty. Mix well, and apply as per Pix 2. The epoxy
will set hard in 20 minutes or so. Leave it overnight to make sure its all
done with hardening.
Attach the "banjo" hose to the 3 way manifold.
Attach the other hose to the valve.

Installing Gauge in car (Pix 1)
Caution - release fuel pressure from system before doing anything!!!
Use rags to soak up spilled fuel and crack the cold start line at the fuel
distributor to relieve fuel pressure.

1. Remove Plug and washer from Low Pressure test port from backside (next to
fender) of Fuel distributor
No need to get under car and loosen up Fuel Distributor mounting bolt. You
can reach this plug with wrench and fingers. The fuel distributor will
wiggle a bit to give you a bit more access.
You need nimble fingers, but it can be done. Hey, I did it on two cars with
my arthritic fingers!
2. Install Banjo fitting with 2 washers in Low pressure test port.
3. Remove Cold start fuel line from Fuel distributor and install other end
of Pressure Gauge.

Testing Fuel Pressure

With valve closed you will read lower chamber pressure.
With valve open you will read system pressure.
System Pressure minus Lower Chamber Pressure = Differential Pressure

You need someone to turn on ign sw to activate the fuel pump . .or . .better
yet . . .make yourself a Fuel Pump switch, you can see it in Pix 1 under the
valve . . the red button..
Pick up a momentary-on switch at radio shack. Pick up 6 ft of lamp cord at
Home Depot.
While at the junkyard getting the fuel lines and fittings, pick up a fuel
pump relay from Fuse/Relay box.
Pop the cover off the FP relay, and drill hole in top of cover for the wire.
Cut off internal connections to pins 30 and 87.
Insert wire thru cover, solder wires to pins 30 and 87. Solder other end of
wires to momentary-on switch. Put cover on the relay.
Use shrink sleeving(before soldering) on the switch to make yourself a
handle.
Plug in your modified fuel pump relay and you can activate the fuel pump
with your new gizmo.
