That would have been my guess. The lines are more rounded than a GTV-6.
The V8 is the old Buick aluminum V8 that also appeared in the MGB V8 and
Triumph TR8. And that dirty mustard color (I think it was called Baby Sh!t
Yellow) was common on BLMC (British Leyland) cars of the era.
